Another collectivist country heard from. Maybe he can persuade MSNBC to be our message distribution vehicle again.

John Grooms, a "Boomer with an attitude." (Head shown actual size to accommodate tiny brain.)

Well, here we are being denounced by the left-collectivists again.

'Boomer with an Attitude'

Gun nuts to rally against nonexistent threat

Wednesday, July 28th, 2010

It’s gonna be a rip-snortin’, double-barreled bushel of fun when a whole passel of armed homegrown patriots get together next month for a good ol’, downhome Restore The Constitution rally. On August 14, right-wing crazies, er, enthusiasts, complete with openly carried rifles and loaded pistols, will gather at Guilford Courthouse Battleground National Park in Greensboro to “peacefully demand that their government abide by the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights,” according to their announcement. The group says it’s concerned about the government taking away Americans’ constitutional rights, and so they’re doing something about it: Walking around in public with loaded weapons. O-kay, then.

Any doubts about where these guys are coming from was dispelled by their announcement of the rally’s headline speaker: Mike Vanderboegh, one of the more extreme right-wing activists out there. Vanderboegh gained notoriety by urging the formation of armed militias to “deter” the government’s evil scheme to steal everybody’s guns; inciting opponents of health care reform to break out the windows of Democratic headquarters (although he’ll be glad to continue getting his monthly Marxist disability checks from the federal government); and starting the “3-Percenters,” a group that sits around talking to each other on the Internet about how terrible the government is and how they’ll never ever ever give up their guns, by God. Well, we have a few questions for these constitutional scholars:

1. If you’re concerned about the Bill of Rights, where were you guys when Bush & Co. started their completely unconstitutional, wide-ranging wiretaps on U.S. citizens? Or when they started putting people in prison, including American citizens, without charging them or giving them access to the court system? Or deciding that the right of habeas corpus, one of the basic protections of Western Civilization, is crap?

2. You do realize, don’t you, that the current president has not made the slightest move, or shown the slightest inclination, to limit gun rights?

3. You do realize, don’t you, that the current president is the one who signed the law that allows you to parade around with your guns in a National Park?

4. Finally — and an honest answer, please — how would you react if, say, a hundred Black Muslims held a public demonstration — openly armed to the teeth — to “assert our gun rights”?

As James Protzman, of the BlueNC site, aptly put it, these “Hatriots” simply “can’t stand having a black guy in the White House unless he’s a janitor. They ought to be thrilled then, because Obama will spend his entire presidency cleaning up the eight years of mess made by George Bush.”

Yeah, it's long -- but take the time to watch it.

LISTEN to what Woods says, then paste the face of any collecivist you choose onto the Zombie.

It doesn't matter WHAT we say, much less what TRUTH is, all their squealing can be grunted out by the most decomposed Zombie:

You know, he's probably going to get more hits by click-through from your site than any other way. I was going to post a reply there, but that's about as pointless as it gets. What's the saying, "Don't mud wrestle with a pig; you both get filthy but the pig enjoys it"?

I used to care what these idiots said, worry why they don't get it, and how we are doing a poor job of communicating.

But then, I figured out they just don't want to get it, they want to misrepresent us.

I can only say, that I hope there are 100 Black American's, who happen to be Muslim, but want to embrace the Constitution, in spite of their religion; freedom and liberty for everyone, including woman and non-believers.

Far thinking people like us WERE against all of this, as we could see someone like ObotOne using Patriot act powers to harden his police state. The leftist only complaint was that all of this power was not being used to silence their opponents.

But it will be. Look at the fact that the National Socialist want to use Gitmo to lock up Americans who disagree with them.

Lies from the left. No surprise here...

It's always the same predictable nonsense. Plus it ALWAYS ends with the standard- "As James Protzman, of the BlueNC site, aptly put it, these “Hatriots” simply “can’t stand having a black guy in the White House unless he’s a janitor. They ought to be thrilled then, because Obama will spend his entire presidency cleaning up the eight years of mess made by George Bush.”

Answers to questions.
1. The people in question supported those against America.
2. He's not totally stupid.
3. He wants to appear supportive of gun owners.
4. Infiltrators acting as targets for real Americans.

The Oriental acting as a "redneck" is a nice touch. Actor?

Amen Hollywood the more the merrier.

I´m trying to make One of the Two Rally´s N.M. or N.C. but things are really tight on Unemployment.

And as much as I would like to be at the N.C. rally I will probably end up going to N.M. if I can make the trip at all.

"It should be wild time in Greensboro on August 14, when teh crazies will gather in an armed demonstration to "restore the constitution" ... whatever that means. If I get back from a business trip in time, I'll be there, armed and dangerous as usual"

(Yeah, right, I'm sure you won't get back, because then you'd have to actually show up)

As usual, this drivel is a left wing slander job. Grooms, naturally and predictably, leaves the meat out of his arguments:

Item 1: Congress authorized the Bush wiretaps via Patriot act. I for one was vehemently opposed to that act, but hey I don't have anything to hide so my opposition was purely philosophical. Maybe you have something to hide? Grooms, your arguments actually take on meaning if you use facts!

Item 2: Obama appointed Holder as AG. Said AG is VERY anti 2nd. Just look at the brief (don't get excited Grooms, I'm not talking about underwear!) he wrote for SCOTUS, which just so you know, represents the administration (that's Obama in case you already forgot), opposing overturning the DC gun ban. Ever hear of 'Disclose' act. HR5175 is an egregious attack on the core of the constitution? (Egregious means 'bad'). Are you aware that Kagan is adamantly anti 2nd? Are you aware that Obama himself twice voted against your right to defend yourself in your own home? Are you aware Obama has an NRA 'F' rating. Now those ratings are not subjective, they are based ON VOTES CAST! Be careful how you reply to that because Reids rating is actually good over the last decade! It's based on actual votes! Uh oh! Facts again. Damn it! These god damned facts just keep getting in way! But I digress.

Item 3: You're wrong again. The bill he signed was the credit card holders bill of rights. An amendment to it repealed the right to carry ban in parks. I don't have time to explain all this to you, but do your homework. Are you aware that President Bush tried for years to repeal the carry ban but was blocked by Reid and Pelosi? Why didn't they block it for the Bamster?

Item 4: Here's my honest answer. Now pay attention. Ready? Here it comes: Nothing. I would do nothing. They have the right to carry just like I do. Get it? Equal rights and all that?

I've wasted enough of my valuable time on you. Just piss off.

As for "2. You do realize, don’t you, that the current president has not made the slightest move, or shown the slightest inclination, to limit gun rights?"

I give you this "success" claimed by the Mayors Against Illegal Guns (I presume this was signed by the President):
The Campaign Against the Tiahrt Amendments
The coalition's campaign against the Tiahrt Amendments has secured incremental but important improvements to the Tiahrt Amendment restrictions.
Key FY 2010 Improvements to the Tiahrt Amendments

* Full Police Access to Crime Gun Trace Data:
The FY 2010 budget removes the restriction that limits access to federal crime gun trace data to state and local police investigations of individual crimes. That restriction prevents them from investigating the broader criminal networks that may be behind those crimes. The new language enables state and local law enforcement to have full access to ATF's gun trace database to analyze gun trafficking patterns.
o Prior to this change, state and local law enforcement could only access crime gun trace data in connection with an individual investigation.

Grooms proves he is completely unaware of reality with this comment.

"2. You do realize, don’t you, that the current president has not made the slightest move, or shown the slightest inclination, to limit gun rights?"

I'll attempt to partially rectify his oblivion, as nasty as that sounds.

"Address Gun Violence in Cities: Obama and Biden would repeal the Tiahrt Amendment, which restricts the ability of local law enforcement to access important gun trace information, and give police officers across the nation the tools they need to solve gun crimes and fight the illegal arms trade. Obama and Biden also favor commonsense measures that respect the Second Amendment rights of gun owners, while keeping guns away from children and from criminals. They support closing the gun show loophole and making guns in this country childproof. They also support making the expired federal Assault Weapons Ban permanent.

Look it up while you can, as he has already sanitized it from his whitehouse.gov urban agenda page.

Every gun rights site I visit DID and DOES speak out for ALL constitutional freedoms and against the PATRIOT Act, forced upon us by the Republican-majority Congress and a Republican president as an EMERGENCY measure. The emergency was so urgent, in fact, that no one who voted in favor had read its thousands of pages.
We know that whatever's authorized for use against the enemy will be used against domestic dissenters eventually.
"Interview With a Zombie" is right. No matter what we say, they twist it. If exercising our rights disturbs them so much, they're going to be more and more uncomfortable, because we're not backing up.

so, what's it to him, anyway? he should just take the poll on the rally's site and answer, "No, I trust the government to ensure my rights", and be done with it
