Seemingly the question by the story here is one or the other. Holder or the White House.
How about this:
A. Holder
B. White House
C. Both
D. None of the above

I would say the American Electorate...

Mike asked "Fast & Furious: Who is accountable?"

In theory every person in the Executive branch chain of command all the way up to and including POTUS.

Unfortunately, practically speaking in this day and time under the conditions prevailing in Mordor on the Potomac, nobody.

Anonymous @2011 8:33 AM on 10/7/2011 attempted to lay the blame on the entire electorate. That is invalid. Many of us voted AGAINST the current occupant of the White House. We bear no guilt. But, actually, neither do the ones who voted FOR him. They voted in good faith. Their vote in no wise provided a mandate to subvert the Constitution. Nor did it provide a mandate to start a process that could hardly be expected NOT to result in the lives of many people.

Ultimately I do not expect anyone to be held to account for GunWalker.

More's the pity.

Thanks for your tireless work on this egregious violation of the law by the political "elite". The good Lord is giving you the strength you need to finish this mission, and I'm praying for your health (both physical and emotional). I believe that Fast & Furious will ultimately be one of the millstones around Obama's neck that will doom his reelection efforts. We can only hope that Holder sees prison time for his involvement.

I agree the American Electorate, but the buck stops with Mr. Obama. You took the job, you have the responsibility to protect this country, not commit treason against it.

You can't say "American Electorate" because they, we, all of us, have been LIED to so much that it's hard for knowledgeable people to keep up.

And that is the point. That is why control of information, media, the Internet, is so important to them. They know that the only thing which can defeat them is a general knowledge of the truth by the population. Dracula vs Sun light in any amount.

As for who knew? You can bet Barry knew and that there is a line of transmission including Holder and somewhere in this there are extensions to both the democratic leadership at the capital and the democratic national committee.

What we hope we don't find are extensions to the republicans and the RNC but as we have seen before, our hopes are never quite reality based. One need only look at the Speaker of the house for confirmation.

The American Electorate? Only half of the American People who are eligible are registered to vote. Only half of those registered bother to show up in a presidential election. Off-year and local elections draw even less. In one recent election in Florida's Broward county, the poll workers outnumbered the total votes cast. Of those who can be bothered to vote, many pay no attention to the issues being debated until after Labor Day, long after the candidates in the general election have been picked by the far right and far left who actually participate in the primaries.

There is some good news and bad in there. First the bad news. The low participation is what allowed a far left wing disciple of Bill Ayers and Saul Alinsky to become Community Organizer In Chief. The good news is that the same dynamic could be used by 2A surporters to weild enormous influence if they could only be persuaded to get off the couch and get involved.

I think it is important to note the ease and smoothness of Obama as he lies. No sweat. It is an accomplishment of the most devious kind when one can lie and not blink an eye or furrow a brow.

And therein lies the problem. The voter apathy in this country is one of the things destroying it. If all the gun owners would vote, we wouldn't have most of the draconian laws we have today. I have found that if a candidate supports the 2nd Amendment the way I do, everything else kind of falls into place.
