This one's easy: "Where Should You Store Your Gold?"

"I think the gold is back in the far corner, Charley."

"That's all right. We need this first."

In the deepest hole you've got, right behind the ammunition you'll need to defend it.

I you have more gold than you can pick up with one hand in a briefcase, congratulations!

Each ounce can become 2000 rounds of training and defense. 3000 rounds if you get a good deal on .223. Maybe 4000 rounds of ComBloc steel-cased surplus.

I'd like some of those new-old-stock early FN FAL's being pulled from Libyan warehouses. Betcha they are cheeeeep if you have something nice to trade for them. Espresso for you and your friends? A pitcher of cool water? Charge your cell phone? A clean shirt?

"Diversification" is the word to remember. All gold or all ammo or all food is the path to need and shortages, where you might be forced to do reckless things during desperate times. Maintain balanced stocks of what your potential group might find useful, especially goods packed and stored in a way that they can last for decades undiscovered & untended.

A few hundred Watts of portable solar generation capability to charge batteries might be a lifesaver at some point, especially mated to a high efficiency l refrigerator/freezer. Beverages cool next to medicine just fine.

Got metal detectors?

Cheers.

Assuming the government doesn't show up to take it from you. Considering who our government now is, that would be a very big assumption. This is why gold is moving off shore and so is everything else and everyone else who can afford to..

When all is said and done, the only thing they will have left of any value is the people, who they will then set to work for them. They will own everything including the people themselves, as slaves. Stick around, it should be fun to watch!
