Comes the dawn. That old "losing the Mandate of Heaven" thing.

Record number of Americans view big government as threat, poll finds
A new Gallup poll, the results of which were released on Wednesday, shows that a majority of Americans believe that big government is a threat to the country.
Conducted between Dec. 5-8, participants were asked, “In your opinion, which of the following will be the biggest threat to the country in the future — big business, big labor, or big government?”
An overwhelming 72 percent said big government.
The number of people who said big government is a bigger threat than the other two options is the highest that Gallup has recorded for this question in 50 years, beating the old high from 1999 and 2000 of 65 percent.
And they wonder why folks are buying firearms and ammunition.

What still isn't happening is the understanding that no person, or group of people, ever had - and never can have - any legitimate authority over another person without their permission. And one has to own oneself in order to give oneself away anyhow.

Until this is understood people can disapprove all they wish, but their "solution" will eventually be the "election" of more "rulers," more tyrants. The only "better person" who can rule our lives legitimately and successfully is ourselves - personally.

The correct answer would be "all three working in concert." That is fascism and it's what we have devolved into,
And for those who don't realize it, fascism is a movement of the left, not the right, because it's based on centralized control by an oligarchy of big business, big labor, and big government, working to get her to control the masses for the benefit of the oligarchs.
It's "legalized" theft, and it's been going on at an increasing level ever since the beginning of the "progressive" era, back in 1913 and even before.
Lincoln inadvertently set the stage for this when he raised the federal government and it's power to the level of tyranny during the first civil war. While his intent was to preserve the union, he (perhaps unintentionally) grew the power of the federal government over the states and the oligarchs to follow were given the tools and infrastructure to advance their tyranny on us all.

Well, by God. It finally appears that the deniers and fence sitters have pulled their heads out of their asses, opened their eyes and see that the rosy world they insisted was always there is gone. Gone in the dust of two stolen elections in a row. An illegal alien installed as leader of the formally free world. A government that views all outside the beltway as the enemy of the state. NOW the dumbasses are seeing what we in the know have been warning about for more then forty years. We were nuts, paranoid or just plain shithouse crazy. I guess we don't seem so crazy now. Better late then never. Now if we can just educate them in the finer points of restoring Liberty to a land founded on that principle. Shoulder your packs boys. It is a long way to freedom.
