David Codrea's speech at Hartford.

Link.
It strikes me forcefully how pale and washed out David looks and how weak he sounds. He's not yet over a bout of almost deadly pneumonia and still, with a perfectly good reason not to go, he drug himself to CT to stand with those behind enemy lines. That's guts.

Great Speech. I would wish progressive listen and take heed to speeches but find they use rationalization logic.

David: Great point we should not forget. Government is to secure and protect these rights and these rights ARE unalienable. Only given by God and not the government or other men.

Shame there was not a professional photographer there. Hard to hear, even harder to watch.

Agree with anon @ 0808

Why do these events usually have such shitty audio setups?

Always muffled and way too much bass, its not what you want when talking over the ambient background talking of a crowd.

I'm sea sick watching this one, and will look for one with better audio too.

Heck Mike I think we're all pale after this brutal winter and lack of sunshine. I think David's microphone was not optimally placed and the videographer wasn't close enough for solid sound. I hope he posts the contents of his speech and you two can find a bit better video. Maybe David will stop smoking cigars too! Out lungs are fragile I know I smoked 24 years. Patriots need to be fit for what's comin'!

BTW any news on your kidneys Mike? I'm still praying for them to heal.

Brave man speaking well on a subject he is intimately familiar with.

I hope he gets well soon.

I was there in person and it was hard to understand standing in the crowd also.

Highlight for me was our friends from NH marching in chanting "Live Free or Die"

Bondsmen, you're right. I can do pretty much what I want to do without real problems. Even for a man of 60, I thought I was pretty okay. I found out the other day how our of shape I really am.

My son & I tried to climb Croagh Patrick the other day, and made it less than halfway. It's a 750M peak, with a fairly gentle slope. It's about four miles to rise those 750 meters. My legs were like jelly.

What's worse is that I wanted to keep going, but my 18 Y/O son wanted to quit. He won't be much good when the shit hits the fan.

He is a dead shot, though. He'll get a few before they figure out his hide.
