The Statist Roots Of The Destructive War On Drugs

"I believe the root of support for the drug war is simply this: trust in government. Unnecessary, irrational, and naive trust in government. What’s so disturbing is that nowhere does the Constitution authorize the federal government to intrude itself into the personal eating, drinking, or smoking habits of Americans or concern itself with the nature and quantity of any substance Americans want to ingest."

This is no small thing, to restore a republic after it has fallen into corruption. I have studied history for years and I cannot recall it ever happening. It may be that our task is impossible.
